Things to Do

Considering Scottsdale is known as “The west’s most Western town,” it’s no surprise that the most exciting things involve the great outdoors. One favorite place to visit for families is the Butterfly Wonderland. Every part of this exhibit is interactive and allows you to enjoy a reprieve from Arizona’s warmer months. If you’re not interested in butterflies, the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art may be something you would enjoy instead.

When it’s time to venture out to one of the many hiking trails in the area, the McDowell Sonoran Preserve is a great place to start.
